The sturdy frame has a weight capacity of 2000 lbs. and is constructed of 2 1/2 11-gauge tubular steel that has been powder-coated for rust- and corrosion-resistance, while the 1/2 frame bolts are treated with anti-rust sealant. The seats are crafted from plantation-grown teak, renowned for its strength and the wood of choice for shipbuilders in the Age of Sail, and if left untreated, will weather to a soft gray.
